Marktbeeld
Het wachten is op wat er nu eigenlijk gaat gebeuren. Veel wereldleiders maken er een potje van, maar bepalen wel voor een groot deel de markten. Goud maakt een correctie door, maar dat is logisch, verder verandert er niet veel. De euro fladdert rond de $1,14, Crude Oil rond de $60

Marktbeeld
De markten lijken wel te fluctueren op de uitspraken van Trump. De dollar weer wat sterker, de euro nu op $1,13 terug van de $1,15. Olieprijs zo ongeveer het zelfde (Crude Oil rond de $63) De prijzen van de edelmetalen verroeren zich niet echt, nadat bij goud even een correctie kwam op de ATH.

Hierdoor waait de “decoupling” discussie weer op. Word Bitcoin eindelijk gezien als “safe haven” en “store of value” tijdens onzekere tijden? En lukt het om zich los te koppelen van de prijsactie van de aandelenmarkten? Of is deze veronderstelling nog te voorbarig?
Als we naar de koers van goud kijken, dan heeft Bitcoin nog een flinke inhaalslag te maken als “safe haven”. Goud is al maanden parabolisch aan het stijgen, terwijl Bitcoin eerst nog de verloren range low van $92k moet terugclaimen.
Bitcoin heeft vaker last gehad van de “laggard effect”, maar dan liep het achter op de rally van de aandelenmarkt en niet die van goud. Dus in mijn ogen is het nog te voorbarig om Bitcoin te kunnen bestempelen als safe haven tijdens de handelsoorlog.
Dan moet het eerst een inhaalslag maken t.o.v. de koers van goud. Maar de eerste tekenen zijn er wel in ieder geval. Mocht de handelsoorlog nóg verder escaleren dan is het belangrijk dat Bitcoin dus niet weer begint te dalen samen met de aandelenmarkt zoals een paar weken geleden, maar juist stabiel blijft.
